Milan-Trenton Twins
The Milan-Trenton Twins represented the nearby cities of Milan and Trenon, Tennessee very briefly in the KITTY League in 1923. The KITTY League was a Class D league that spanned a number of decades in the first half of the 20th century and consisted of teams from Kentucky, Illinois, and Tennessee, which gave it it's 'KITTY' name. The Twins took over the franchise of the Springfield (TN) Blanket Makers in the middle of the 1923 season. The Twins played the second half of the '23 season, as back then leagues would play two halves and crown first and second half champs. The Twins went 21-22 and finished in fifth.
