Vintage Maine Shirts: Defunct Maine Baseball Teams
Maine had its own professional circuit at the turn of the century, the Maine State League, with clubs from York Beach to Bangor. The nicknames were pure New England: the Augusta Kennebecs on their namesake river, the Belfast Pastimes, the Lewiston Cupids, and the Bangor Millionaires. Portland later fielded the Gulls in New England's Class B circuit.
Our vintage Maine shirts honor these defunct clubs with original designs grounded in real research.
Every team below links to its own collection, where you can read the full history and shop shirts, hoodies, and crewnecks for that club. Find your hometown team, or the one your grandfather used to talk about.
