Portland Gulls

The Portland Gulls were a minor league team that played out of Portland, Maine, in the Class B New England League from 1946 to 1949. The team was originally the Gulls and rebranded as the Portland Pilots following the 1947 season. The Pilots won the New England League in 1949. The Gulls and Pilots were the last pro baseball team in Portland until the Portland Sea Dogs arrived in 1994.
