
Sherman-Denison Twins
The Sherman-Denison Twins were a minor league baseball team that played in a number of different leagues during the 1940s and 1950s. The Twins played in the East Texas League in 1946, moving to the Big State League the following year through 1951. Finally they played in the Sooner State League in 1953. The Twins would win the Big State League in 1948 under manager Jose Rodriguez, who played for the New York Giants and was inducted into the Cuban Baseball Hall of Fame in 1951.
