The Grays Harbor Loggers represented Aberdeen and Hoquiam, Washington, in the short-season Class A league in the Pacific Northwest in 1977, 1978 and 1980, playing at Olympic Stadium, an all-wood ballpark in Hoquiam that opened in 1938.
The 1978 Loggers went 47-23 and won the league championship when rain washed out the rest of the final after they took the opener against Eugene. That July, Bill Murray came to Grays Harbor to film a Saturday Night Live segment, coached first base, and singled as a pinch-hitter at Olympic Stadium, finishing his career 1-for-2. The franchise folded after the 1980 season.
