The Vincennes Alices were a minor league team from Vincennes, Indiana, and one of the few KITTY League clubs located outside Kentucky, Illinois, and Tennessee. Their name came from the 1900 bestseller Alice of Old Vincennes, a Revolutionary War novel set in the town. Formed in 1903, they folded after just 19 games but returned in 1905 to win a marathon 13-game playoff series against Paducah, then captured the 1906 league pennant. The Alices also won another pennant in 1910 before struggling through their final season in 1913 with a 34–92 record. Minor league baseball has not returned to Vincennes since.
