1908 Lexington Colts

Lexington Colts

The Lexington Colts were a minor league baseball team based in Lexington, Kentucky. They played in the Blue Grass League, a Class D league that operated primarily in the early 20th century. The Colts were active during multiple periods, with stints from 1908–1912 and again in 1922–1924. They wore a diamond with an 'L' inside it on their sleeves as a vintage logo. Their home games were played in Lexington, though specific records of the ballpark are scarce. The Blue Grass League included other Kentucky teams such as the Frankfort Lawmakers, Paris Bourbonites, and Shelbyville Grays.
