Paris Mammoths

The Paris Mammoths were a minor league baseball team based in Paris, Kentucky, that played in the Blue Grass League during the 1922 season. The team was part of a regional Class D circuit that featured clubs from towns across central Kentucky. Paris had previously fielded teams under different names, including the Paris Bourbonites and the Bourbons, but used the "Mammoths" name briefly in the early 1920s. The Mammoths played their home games in Paris at Bourbon County Park. Like many teams in the Blue Grass League, the Mammoths had a short lifespan due to the league’s instability and limited financial backing.
