East Texas League
The East Texas League was initially a Class D - and later Class C - minor league baseball league that operated in smaller towns and cities in Eastern Texas during the first half of the 20th century, from 1916 through 1950. The league featured clubs from across East Texas, including the Bryan Bombers, Gladewater Bears, Greenville Staplers, Henderson Oilers, Jacksonville Tomato Pickers, Longview Cannibals, Nacogdoches Cogs, Paris Red Peppers, Sherman-Denison Twins, Texarkana Bears, and Tyler Trojans. As you can see, the teams had some really amazing nicknames, even if the teams didn't last very long.
Now, fans of baseball history can remember this unique league with a collection of original designs created by Retro Baseball Revival that celebrate each of these defunct clubs. From the oddball Jacksonville Tomato Pickers to the adorable Texarkana Bears, each team has been reimagined through stylized, retro baseball tees that capture the spirit of the old time baseball and the team's unique nicknames. These baseball t-shirts are printed on high-quality shirts in the USA, making them perfect for gifts or anyone looking for unique baseball shirts that stand out. Whether you're revisiting Texas baseball history or looking for standout retro gear, our East Texas League collection offers a one-of-a-kind tribute to America’s pastime.
