The Cynthiana Cobblers were a professional minor league team based in Cynthiana, Kentucky, that competed in the Class D Blue Grass League during the 1909 season. The team was one of six clubs in the league, joining franchises from Lexington, Paris, Richmond, Winchester, and Frankfort, and was managed by J.E. Kimbrough and Charles Stanley during the year. The nickname is believed to reference the shoemaking trade, which may have been a notable industry in the area at the time. Like many early minor league teams, the Cobblers existed for only a single season before folding.
