Freeport Pretzels

The Freeport Pretzels, from Freeport, Illinois, the self-proclaimed Pretzel City, were a Class D team in the Wisconsin State League, later the Wisconsin-Illinois League, from 1905 to 1909. The Pretzels finished two games out of first in 1906 and won the league in 1907 with 79 wins. In 1910 the team moved to a different circuit that folded in midseason, and a revival in the Bi-State League in 1915 ended the same way when that league collapsed in July.
