The Batavia Clippers were an original PONY League team in 1939. The PONY League (Pennsylvania-Ontario-New York) was a short-season Class D league that later became the New York-Penn League. The Clippers won the league in 1945 and 1946 and played through 1953 before folding. The name was revived from 1988 to 1997, and the revived Clippers reached the league final in their last season under the name. Our Clippers design is an original; some of our other Batavia products use the 1990s Clippers logo.
