The Paris Bourbonites were a minor league team based in Paris, Kentucky, that played in the early 20th century. They were active in 1908 and 1910-12 as members of the Blue Grass League, a Class D circuit. The name was a reference to Bourbon County, where Paris is located, and the region's association with bourbon whiskey. Home games were played at Bourbon County Park and White Park.
The Bourbonites competed against other Kentucky teams such as the Lexington Colts and the Winchester Hustlers. The league itself folded and re-formed several times, and the Bourbonites were among the clubs that came and went with its instability. The team resurfaced in the early 1920s as the Paris Bourbons and, in some sources, as the Paris Mammoths, another great team name.
