The Princeton Infants, from Princeton, Kentucky, were a short-lived Kitty League team. The Kitty League was a Class D minor league of the first half of the 20th century made up of teams from Kentucky, Illinois, and Tennessee. The Infants played a single season, 1905. The nickname likely comes from the style of the era, when a team with a lot of younger players would be named something like the Infants or the Babes. The 1905 season was cut short by a yellow fever epidemic, and the Infants finished fourth with a 46-61 record.
