The Huntington Aces were a minor league baseball team from Huntington, WV, that played in the Class D Mountain State League during the 1941 and 1942 seasons. They struggled on the field, finishing last in the six-team league both years, and rebranded as the Jewels in 1943 after a naming contest referencing Huntington’s nickname as the “jewel city of the Ohio Valley.”
