The Huntington Bees were a minor league team from Huntington, West Virginia, that played in the Mountain State League for a single season in 1938. The Mountain State League was a Class D league of the 1930s and 40s made up of teams from West Virginia. In their single season the Bees went 50-66 and finished last in the six-team league.
It's unclear whether Huntington's teams kept folding or just kept changing their name, as the city's Mountain State League club seemed to have a different name almost every year. The Bees were one of many teams in smaller towns and cities during this era, as Americans looked for recreational outlets and America's pastime swept the country.
