The Marshall Tigers were a minor league team from Marshall, Texas, during the 1930s and 40s. The town fielded minor league teams in various Texas leagues during the first half of the 20th century, and the Tigers played from 1936 to 1941 and again in 1948, mainly in the East Texas League but also in the Cotton States League and Lone Star League. Major leaguer Eddie Lopat pitched for the Tigers before going on to pitch almost 300 major league games.
