Maine State League

The Maine State League was a Class D minor baseball league that operated in Maine (with one team in New Hampshire) in 1897 and again from 1907-1908. The league featured small clubs from across Maine, including, among others, the Augusta Kennebecs, Belfast Pastimes, Biddeford Orphans, Pine Tree Capers of Portland, Portland Blue Sox, and unnamed teams from Rockland, Waterville, and York Beach. While the league didn't last very long, the teams had really unique nicknames with local flavor for the towns and cities. We've also included some teams that played in the New England League, but were Maine based teams and perfect additions to the collection.

Today, fans of baseball history can celebrate this unique league with a collection of original designs that honor these vintage defunct baseball teams. From the Lewiston Cupids with cupid swinging a bat to the Augusta Live Oaks featuring an anamorphic acorn, each team has been reimagined through stylized, retro baseball tees that capture the spirit of the old time baseball and the team's unique monikers. These baseball t-shirts are printed on high-quality shirts in the USA, making them perfect for gifts or anyone looking for unique baseball shirts that stand out. Whether you're revisiting Maine baseball history or looking for standout retro gear, the Maine State League collection offers a unique tribute to America’s pastime.
