The Maysville Rivermen were a minor league baseball team based in Maysville, Kentucky, that played in the Blue Grass League. Maysville was a major shipping port during the steamboat era, known for exporting tobacco, hemp, and bourbon. The "Rivermen" nickname likely refers to the many locals who worked as boatmen, ferrymen, or traders on the river.
