The Princeton Infants, from Princeton, KY, were a short-lived minor league baseball team in the KITTY League. The KITTY League was a Class D minor league during the first half of the 20th century that consisted of teams from Kentucky, Illinois and Tennessee. The Infants played a single season in the KITTY in 1905. The Infants nickname is likely from the style of the era where a team with lots of younger players would be named the something like the infants or babes. The 1905 season would be cut short by the yellow fever epidemic, and the Infants finished with fourth with a 46-61 record.
