The Maryville-Alcoa Twins were a short-lived minor league team from the twin cities of Maryville and Alcoa, Tennessee, that played in the Mountain States League, a Class D league of teams from Tennessee, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Virginia.
The Twins started play in 1953 and were led by former major leaguer Jim Poole. The team won the pennant that year and reached the playoff final, losing to the Knoxville Smokies. In 1954 the Twins faced low attendance and financial trouble and moved to Morristown, Tennessee, where they folded soon after.
