The DuBois Miners played in DuBois, Pennsylvania, a Clearfield County coal and lumber town, in the Class D Interstate League from 1905 through 1907. The franchise arrived mid-season: on July 12, 1905, the Jamestown Hill Climbers packed up an 18-23 record and moved to DuBois, where the renamed Miners went 22-37 the rest of the way and finished last at 40-60 under managers Harry Knight and John Lawley.

The club improved considerably from there. By June 1907 DuBois sat atop the eight-team league standings, trading first place with Oil City while Punxsutawney chased them both, and the town's ballclub was strong enough that its pitching staff became a store other clubs shopped from. That June, Punxsutawney's business manager traveled to DuBois and bought pitcher Blanchard off the Miners' staff; Blanchard stepped off the afternoon train in Punxsutawney and shut out Kane on two hits the same day.

Home games were played at City Park, at Liberty Boulevard and Parkway Drive. Professional baseball did not return to DuBois after the Interstate League's run ended.

The Interstate League was a Class D circuit drawn from the oil, coal, and lumber towns straddling the Pennsylvania and New York line, with clubs in DuBois, Punxsutawney, Kane, Bradford, Oil City, Franklin, Erie, and Olean.
