The Frankfort Lawmakers were a minor league baseball team based in Frankfort, Kentucky. They played in the early 1900s as part of the Blue Grass League, a Class D league that operated in central Kentucky. The team name referencs Frankfort’s status as the state capital and home to Kentucky’s legislature. Like many teams of the era, the Lawmakers were a reflection of local pride and civic identity.
