The Kingsport Cherokees were a minor league baseball team from Kingsport, Tennessee, that played in the Appalachian League (1938–52) and the Mountain States League (1953–54), both Class D circuits in the mountain region. They won Appalachian League championships in 1944, 1945, and 1951. The Cherokees were an early part of Kingsport’s rich baseball history, which continues today.
