The Rock Island Islanders were a long-running minor league baseball team from Rock Island that played from 1901-1937, primarily in the Three-I League and later the Mississippi Valley League. The Islanders won the Three-I championship in 1909 with a 90-48 record and later captured the Mississippi Valley League title in 1932 after defeating Davenport in the playoffs. During the 1920s, they shared Douglas Park with the Rock Island Independents (an early NFL team) before the franchise eventually folded in 1937.
