Georgia-Florida League: South Georgia's Baseball Circuit
From the late 1930s into the 1950s, the Georgia-Florida League kept professional baseball in the small cities below the fall line: the Albany Travelers, the Moultrie Packers, the Thomasville Tomcats, the Valdosta Trojans, and the Waycross Bears on the edge of the Okefenokee. Brunswick's Pirates brought the league to the coast, and the Tallahassee Capitals carried it into north Florida.
Our vintage style shirts honor these defunct clubs with original designs grounded in real research.
